To make this delicious dessert, use the ingredients below and follow the step-by-step preparation instructions to make your tortuguita pavé delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 package of cornstarch biscuits

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 1 can of cream

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

  • 1 bar of milk chocolate

  • Tortuguita chocolates (quantity to taste)

  • Chocolate sprinkles (optional, for decoration)

Directions

  • In a pan, mix the condensed milk, milk and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens and forms a cream. Set aside and let it cool.
  • While the cream cools, chop the Tortuguita candies and set aside.
  • In a bowl, mix the cream with the cold cream and set aside.
  • On a platter, make a layer of cornstarch cookies at the bottom.
  • Cover the cookies with a layer of the prepared cream.
  • Spread the Tortuguita candy pieces over the cream.
  • Repeat the layers until the ingredients are finished, finishing with a layer of cream.
  • Melt the milk chocolate bar in a bain-marie or in the microwave, whichever you prefer.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the last layer of cream, spreading it evenly.
  • Decorate with more chopped Tortuguita candies and, if desired, sprinkle chocolate sprinkles on top.
  • Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving so that the pavé becomes firm.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!
