Ingredients

  • 2 cups of cooked rice

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 1/2 cup wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • 1/2 chopped onion

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • Chopped parsley and chives to taste

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Frying oil

Directions

  • In a bowl, mix the rice, egg, parmesan cheese, wheat flour, baking powder, onion, garlic, parsley, chives, salt and black pepper. 
    Mix everything very well until it forms a homogeneous mass.
  • With your hands, model small dumplings with the dough, the size you prefer.
  • Heat a skillet with enough oil to cover the dumplings. 
    When the oil is hot, fry the dumplings until golden brown.
  • When the dumplings are ready, remove them with a slotted spoon and let them drain on absorbent paper.
  • Serve hot and bon appetit!
