Preparing sardella is very easy and the result is a side dish with a unique flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 can of sardines

  • 1 chili pepper

  • 2 large tomatoes

  • 3 red peppers

  • 3 unpeeled garlic cloves

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Spicy paprika to taste

  • Olive oil to taste

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • Cut the chili peppers, tomatoes and peppers into cubes and discard the seeds. 
    Chop the garlic and transfer everything to the blender.
  • Beat very well and then transfer the mixture to a pan. 
    Add black pepper, paprika and salt to taste.
  • Take the pan to the fire and mix well. 
    Add the oil-free sardines and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  • Turn off the heat and add oil to taste. 
    Mix well, wait to cool at room temperature or refrigerate and the sardella is ready.
