Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of orange juice
1/2 cup oil
2 cups of wheat flour
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
Zest of 1 orange
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the orange juice, oil and orange zest, and mix well.
- Add the wheat flour and mix until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently.
- Pour the dough into a greased and floured form.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from oven, let cool and serve.
