Ingredients

  • 3 eggs

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of orange juice

  • 1/2 cup oil

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

  • Zest of 1 orange

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  • Add the orange juice, oil and orange zest, and mix well.
  • Add the wheat flour and mix until all the ingredients are incorporated.
  • Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently.
  • Pour the dough into a greased and floured form.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from oven, let cool and serve.
