The company unveiled the iPads Pro and Air; will be available in the US starting May 15
Apple announced this Tuesday (May 7, 2024) the new models of the iPad Pro and iPad Air. Among the new features is the M4 chip, focused on artificial intelligence technologies, which will power the Pro version.
The devices are now available for pre-order in the United States. They will be available from May 15th. The release date for Brazil has not been announced.
Other new features of the Apple brand’s tablets include a longer-lasting battery and the relocation of the front camera to the side edge – aiming to use the iPad in “landscape mode”. The new model is also “the thinnest Apple product to date”according to the company itself.
Both versions have 11 and 13 inch screens. Prices range from $599 to $1,299 for the Air and $999 to $2,299 for the Pro.
In the field of accessories, big tech also announced new keyboard (Magic Keyboard) and stylus (Apple Pencil) for the tablet.
