Ingredients
3 heaped tablespoons of mimoso cornmeal
450 grams of boiled potatoes with salt
Ground meat filling to taste
Cornmeal for breading
Directions
- Cook the peeled potatoes in boiling water with salt to taste for about 20 to 30 minutes, or until soft.
- Mash the cooked potatoes with a fork in a bowl until they have a puree consistency.
- Add the cornmeal, mix until homogenized and let it rest for 5 minutes to hydrate.
- Lightly flatten portions of the dough and add a little filling with ground meat and shape the dumplings with greased hands.
- Dip the dumplings in cornmeal to coat and fry them in hot oil until lightly golden.
