Abby Hensel, one of the American Siamese twins known for several documentaries, married Josh Bowling, a nurse and US Army veteran. The wedding took place in 2021, according to the website Todaybut it has only now become public.
She and her sister, Brittany Hensel, 34, are joined at the core. Abby controls the right side of the body. In turn, Brittany controls the left. They share the same blood circulation and share organs below the waist.
The twins became known in 1996, when they participated in the program “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. Afterwards, they starred in several documentaries and shows, such as “Abby & Brittany”, do canal TLC.
According to the Today, the twins’ parents decided not to perform separation surgery when they were born, considering it too risky. At the time, doctors said there was little chance either of them would survive the operation.
They are currently teachers at a school in Minnesota.
