Gaza Civil Defense recorded, this Sunday (12), the death of four people in an Israeli drone attack. The agency, under the authority of Hamas, reported that the equipment hit a metallurgical workshop in the south of Gaza City, also leaving several injured.
The Israeli military confirmed the launch of the drone, which it said targeted a “terrorist infrastructure”, but did not provide further details. According to the international news agency AFPAl Shifa hospital confirmed having received four bodies.
In addition to this attack, a girl was shot dead in a refugee camp. In Al Bureij, the child was hit by machine gun fire, Civil Defense said. The body was taken to the Al Aqsa Martyrs hospital.
At least 1,098 Palestinians have died in Gaza in attacks since the ceasefire with Israel came into force in October last year, according to the territory’s Ministry of Health, governed by Hamas.
During the same period, Israel recorded the deaths of five soldiers and a service provider in Gaza.
