How to Make Loose and Tasty Brown Rice

After learning how to make loose and tasty brown rice, you won’t go wrong when preparing this healthy grain!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of 200 ml brown rice

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion

  • 1 tablespoon of salt

  • 1 clove of minced garlic

Directions

  • Place the brown rice in a sieve and wash well under running water.
  • In a pan add the oil and place over medium heat.
  • Add the chopped onion, chopped garlic and spread a little.
  • Add the brown rice, salt and mix until the ingredients are heated through.
  • Add water until it is a finger above the rice, mix and cover the pan.
  • Cook until dry (15 to 20 minutes) and add water a finger above the rice.
  • Cover, cook until the water dries (another 15 to 20 minutes) and the rice is ready.
