Ingredients
Fresh sausage (can be pork, chicken, beef, etc.)
Olive oil
Seasonings to taste (pepper, garlic powder, paprika, herbs, etc.)
Vegetables to accompany (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- If the sausages are wrapped in casing, make small cuts in the skin to prevent them from bursting while roasting.
- Place the sausages in a baking dish.
- Drizzle the sausages with a little olive oil to help them brown.
- Season the sausages generously with your favorite seasonings. Pepper, garlic powder, paprika and herbs are great options.
- If desired, you can add vegetables such as potatoes, onions and peppers to the pan to roast alongside the sausages. Just cut them into large pieces and season them with salt, pepper and olive oil.
- Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for around 30-40 minutes, or until the sausages are golden and cooked inside. Be sure to turn the sausages halfway through the cooking time to ensure they brown evenly.
- When the sausages are ready, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the roasted sausages hot, accompanied by roasted vegetables, if desired. They are great alone, on sandwiches or with a sauce of your choice.
