Ingredients
200g chopped semisweet chocolate
100g unsalted butter
1 cup of sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 pinch of salt
300g of creamy dulce de leche (good quality)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180 °C and grease a medium baking tin (20×20 cm) with butter and greaseproof paper.
- Melt the chocolate with the butter in a bain-marie or in the microwave (30 seconds at a time), mix well until smooth.
- Add the sugar , eggs and vanilla , mixing well until you get a shiny dough.
- Add the flour , cocoa powder and pinch of salt , mixing gently.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan and spread evenly.
- Using a spoon, spread generous spoonfuls of the dulce de leche over the dough, leaving spaces.
- Cover with the remaining brownie batter.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes , until the edges are set but the center is still a little moist (the filling will be melted!).
- Allow to cool slightly before cutting and serving!
