Ingredients
1 can of condensed milk
2 measures (from the can) of milk
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 cup of sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a pan, melt the sugar until you get a golden caramel.
Pour the caramel into a pudding mold (about 20cm in diameter) and spread it along the sides and bottom of the mold. - In a blender, beat condensed milk, milk, eggs and vanilla essence until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
- Carefully pour the pudding mixture into the tin over the caramel.
- Place the mold in a baking pan with hot water, which covers 1/3 of the height of the pudding mold.
- Bake the pudding in the oven for about 50-60 minutes, or until it is firm to the touch.
- Remove the pan from the oven and let it cool completely at room temperature.
- Once cooled, place the pudding in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or until it is very firm.
- When ready to serve, unmold the pudding onto a large plate, being careful not to break the caramel.
