Ingredients
1 tea cup of water
1 tea cup of milk
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tea cups of wheat flour
1 chicken bouillon cube
1 cooked and shredded chicken breast
1 chopped onion
2 minced garlic cloves
1 chopped seedless tomato
Salt and black pepper to taste
Frying oil
Directions
- In a pan, place the water, milk and butter and bring to a boil.
- Add the wheat flour little by little, stirring constantly, until it forms a homogeneous mass and releases from the bottom of the pan.
- Remove the mass from the heat and let it cool slightly.
- In another pan, sauté the onion and garlic in a little oil.
- Add the diced tomato and shredded chicken and sauté for a few more minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
- Take a piece of dough, open it in the palm of your hand and place a tablespoon of filling in the center.
- Close the dough, giving it the shape of a coxinha.
- Repeat the process until you run out of dough and stuffing.
- In a pan, heat the oil and fry the coxinhas until golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
