Ingredients
1 whole egg
200 grams of grated mozzarella
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Directions
- Place the egg, grated mozzarella and cornstarch in a container and mix well.
- Knead and stir the ingredients with your hands for approximately 1 minute, until you obtain a smooth and uniform dough.
- Take portions of the dough, shape them into balls and place them on a plate, platter or baking tray.
- Heat a pan with enough oil to dip the balls in and fry them until golden.
- Remove the balls with a slotted spoon, transfer to a plate lined with paper towel and the cheese balls are ready to serve.
