The striking flavor of these onion cookies pleases even the most demanding palates!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg yolk

  • 40 grams of onion cream

  • 150 grams of butter or margarine

  • 250 grams of wheat flour

  • 1 tablespoon dehydrated chives (optional)

  • Sesame to taste (optional)

Directions

  • Add the wheat flour, butter or margarine, onion cream and dehydrated chives to a container.
  • Mix and knead the ingredients until you obtain a smooth, homogeneous dough that is easy to shape.
  • Take small portions of the dough, make balls and place them in a mold, leaving space between them.
  • Brush the egg yolk over the biscuits and then sprinkle with sesame seeds to taste (optional).
  • Bake for approximately 10 to 15 minutes or until golden in an oven preheated to 180º₢.
  • Wait for the cookies to cool a little before removing them from the mold and they can now be served.
