The Israeli police harshly repressed an action in Tel Aviv, this Saturday (4), against the war. According to sources, at least 17 people were arrested after using brutal violence to disperse protesters.

Acts against the war in Israel have been increasingly constant since the beginning of the conflict against Iran.

The Supreme Court of that country analyzes actions by human rights NGOs regarding the freedom to demonstrate during the war, which is now five weeks old.

Yuval Tzur, who has participated in weekly demonstrations since the start of the conflict, told CNN that the action began a few minutes after the start of the gathering in Habima Square.

“We managed to protest for about half an hour, and then the police began to forcibly remove us (…) Everyone I was with was pushed and thrown to the ground. Someone almost fainted,” says Tzur.
