Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1/4 cup of milk
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a cake tin with butter and flour.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
- Add the sugar and melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Add the milk to the mixture and stir until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, mix the wheat flour, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to banana mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and level the surface with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes.
Then transfer it to a cooling rack to cool completely. - Once cooled, you can sprinkle some icing sugar on top or even whip up a topping of your choice, like a cream cheese frosting or cinnamon sugar frosting.
