United States President Donald Trump published on Wednesday on his social network Truth Social a video generated by artificial intelligence that portrays the Gaza track as a luxury tourist destination. The montage has a fictitious future in which the war-devastated territory is transformed into a resort complex with skyscrapers, yachts and a hotel called “Trump Gaza”.

The approximately 30 second clip opens with ruined Gaza images and the inscription “Gaza 2025”, followed by the question “What’s next?”.

Following, the assembly displays a completely reconfigured environment, with modern buildings, busy beaches and picturesque figures, including a child holding a golden balloon with Trump’s face and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, relaxing on the edge of a pool.

The soundtrack of the video also makes direct reference to Trump’s vision for the region. In one passage, the verses say, “Donald is coming to free you, bringing the light to everyone to see. Without more tunnels, without more fear, Trump Gaza finally arrived. ”

At another point, the lyrics continue: “Trump Gaza shines strong, a golden future, a new life. Party and dance, the business is closed, Trump Gaza is number one. ”

In recent months, Trump has publicly advocated the idea of the United States to “take control” of the Gaza range after the conflict, removing its 2.2 million inhabitants and turning the area into a real estate development hub.

The proposal generated strong rejection in the international community, being considered a form of “ethnic cleaning” by Arab leaders and human rights specialists.

The AI video appears at a delicate moment, in which Israel and Hamas negotiate the second phase of the United States mediated ceasefire. Since the beginning of the war, in October 2023, more than 48,000 Palestinians have been killed, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas. The enclave continues to block and faces an unprecedented humanitarian crisis.

So far, Trump has not commented on the video, which was published without subtitles. The authorship of the montage was also not attributed to any official source, but previously circulated on social networks before it was shared by the president.

The proposal to turn Gaza into a “Middle East Riviera” had already been mentioned by Trump during a meeting with Netanyahu in Washington in early February. At the time, he stated that the US would be “responsible for dismantling unplusted bombs, leveling the ground and rebuilding Gaza as a world -class destination.”

Israeli Prime Minister endorsed the idea, while countries like Egypt and Jordan rejected it openly.

The assembly released by Trump contrasts with the current reality of Gaza, where thousands of Palestinians remain displaced and the reconstruction actions have not yet started.

The insistence on the idea of a redevelopment that excludes the Palestinian population raises questions about the boundaries of Trump’s rhetoric and its approach to the Middle East crisis.
