This simple butter cake is a delight that tastes even better with a good cup of coffee!

Ingredients

  • 240 ml of milk

  • 4 eggs (separate the yolks from the whites)

  • 3 cups wheat flour (tea)

  • 2 cups of sugar (tea)

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla essence

  • 100 grams unsalted butter

  • Icing sugar for sprinkling

Directions

  • Add the sugar, the butter at room temperature, the egg yolks in a bowl and mix until you form a cream.
  • Add the milk, wheat flour and mix the ingredients very well.
  • Beat the egg whites with a mixer or mixer until they become stiff.
  • Put the vanilla essence in the dough and mix. 
    Add the egg whites, the baking soda and stir until uniform.
  • Grease a mold with butter and flour, place the dough and bake for 45 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
  • Unmold after cooling at room temperature, finish sprinkling with icing sugar and the butter cake is ready.
