In addition to being tasty, this peanut candy is super creamy and is a huge success!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 2 cups roasted (peeled) peanuts

  • 3 cups of milk (2 hot and 1 cold)

Directions

  • Separate some of the shelled roasted peanuts, put the rest in a container and set aside.
  • Heat 2 cups of milk in a pan and when it boils, add it to the container with the peanuts. 
    Cover and let it soak for an hour.
  • Grind the dry peanuts that were previously separated in a blender or food processor and set aside.
  • In the blender or processor put the peanuts with milk and beat well. 
    Add the sugar, the cup of cold milk and beat again.
  • Transfer the mixture to a deep pan and stir constantly over medium or high heat until the liquid dries up and the mixture forms a paste.
  • Transfer the paste to a refractory greased with butter or margarine, spread it out to the desired thickness and add the crushed peanuts on top.
  • Leave the dessert in the fridge for at least 2 hours, cut as you like and the peanut candy is ready to serve.
