Ingredients
500g pasta (preferably spaghetti)
1/2 cup olive oil
6 minced garlic cloves
Red pepper flakes to taste
Salt to taste
Chopped parsley to finish
Directions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions until al dente.Â
Run the water and book. - In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-low heat.Â
Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook, stirring frequently, for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until the garlic is golden and fragrant. - Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well with the olive oil and garlic.Â
Season with salt to taste and cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the noodles are hot and coated in the oil and garlic sauce. - Serve the pasta hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley to finish.Â
If you like, you can also add grated parmesan cheese on top.Â
