Make this Mug Cake using the ingredients below.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons wheat flour

  • 2 tablespoons of sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • A bit of salt

  • 3 tablespoons of milk

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

  • Chopped chocolate, nuts, or other toppings (optional)

Directions

  • In a large mug (approximately 300 ml capacity), mix the wheat flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt.
  • Add the milk, vegetable oil and vanilla essence (if using) to the mixture in the mug. 
    Stir well with a spoon until you get a homogeneous mass.
  • If desired, add some extra toppings to the dough, such as chopped chocolate, nuts, or any other option you like. 
    Mix gently.
  • Place the mug in the microwave and cook on high for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. 
    Time may vary depending on the power of your microwave, so keep an eye on the cake.
  • Carefully remove the mug from the microwave as it will be hot. 
    Let it cool for a few minutes before eating.
  • If you wish, you can add an extra topping on top of the cake, such as chocolate sauce, whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
