Check out the ingredients needed to make your Lemon Pie using the ingredients below.


  • 1 and 1/2 cups crushed cornstarch biscuits

  • 6 tablespoons melted unsalted butter

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 1/2 cup lemon juice

  • Lemon zest to decorate

  • 3 separate eggs

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

  • Icing sugar for sprinkling


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, mix crushed biscuits and melted butter. 
    Press the mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom. 
    Bake for about 10 minutes or until lightly golden. 
    Let cool.
  • In another bowl, mix condensed milk, lemon juice and egg yolks. 
    Beat with a fouet until it’s homogeneous. 
    Pour the mixture into the cooled biscuit base.
  • Beat the egg whites with the salt until stiff peaks form. 
    Gradually add 1/4 cup sugar, beating until glossy and stiff.
  • Spread the egg whites over the lemon mixture, covering completely. 
    Use a putty knife to level the surface.
  • Place the pie in the oven for about 15 minutes or until the egg whites are golden brown. 
    Let it cool completely.
  • Decorate the pie with lemon zest and sprinkle icing sugar on top. 
    Serve chilled.
