Italian Homemade Bread

To prepare your homemade Italian bread, you will only need 4 ingredients. 
Follow the preparation instructions.


  • Biological yeast (5g)

  • Warm water (400ml)

  • Sifted wheat flour (500g)

  • Salt (1 teaspoon)


  • Mix the yeast (5g) with warm water (400ml);
  • Rest 5 minutes;
  • Add the sifted wheat flour (500g);
  • Mix;
  • Add 1 teaspoon salt;
  • Mix;
  • Cover and let rest for 30 minutes;
  • With wet hands, make folds in the dough. 
    Pull and gather in the center;
  • Let rest another 10 minutes and repeat the process 4 times;
  • Flour the bench and hands and make a ball with the dough;
  • Place the dough in a bowl, cover and let rest for another 30 minutes;
  • Make a ball again and transfer the dough to a heart attack;
  • Make a cut in the middle;
  • Take to preheated oven at 180 degrees for approximately 50 minutes, or until golden (half the time with aluminum foil and half the time without);
  • Your Italian bread is ready!
