The Israeli Confederation of Brazil issued a statement and said that this Saturday is a “day of great hope” for the Jewish community.

“Note from the Brazilian Israeli Confederation (CONIB)

“With immense joy we celebrate the rescue of the four hostages cowardly kidnapped by Hamas since October 7th.

“This is a day of great hope for the Jewish community and for us at the Brazilian Israeli Confederation (CONIB). We were moved to see the reunion of those freed with their family and friends and we hope for more outcomes like this. However, we cannot forget that there are still 116 hostages held captive. We will not rest until they are released and returned to their families.”
