Granulated Tapioca Cream

The traditional and tasty granulated tapioca cream is even more delicious when consumed in the cold season!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (210 ml) granulated tapioca (150 grams)

  • 1 box of cream (200 grams)

  • 1 box of condensed milk (395 grams)

  • 200 ml of coconut milk (can be homemade or from the bottle)

  • 420 ml whole or skimmed milk

  • Grated coconut to decorate (optional)

Directions

  • Add milk to a pan and bring to a boil. 
    When it starts to boil, remove it from the heat and add the granulated tapioca.
  • Mix well and set aside for 15 minutes for the tapioca to hydrate, stirring occasionally to avoid lumps.
  • Add the coconut milk and mix well. 
    Then put the condensed milk, the cream of milk and stir until homogenized.
  • Transfer the mixture to a container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 4 to 5 hours.
  • Finish sprinkling grated coconut to taste and optionally to decorate and the granulated tapioca cream is ready.
