Rate is the same as that recorded in March; the services, food, alcohol and tobacco sectors had the highest inflations
Annual inflation in the Euro Zone remained stable at 2.4% in April, according to data released this Tuesday (April 30, 2024) by Eurostat. The rate is the same as that recorded in March. The report states that the services (3.7%), food, alcohol and tobacco (2.8%), non-energy industrial goods (0.9%) and energy (-0.6%) sectors presented, respectively, the highest annual inflations in the month.
