Turn split peas into a gourmet soup with this simple recipe.

Ingredients

  • 500g dried peas

  • 1 slice of calabrese sausage

  • 200g of bacon

  • 1 onion

  • 4 garlic cloves

  • 1 heaping tablespoon of salt

  • Green smell to taste (parsley and chives)

Directions

  • Wash the peas and let them drain;
  • Cut the pepperoni and bacon into cubes and fry in the pressure cooker until they are golden (no oil needed, fry in the very fat that the bacon will release);
  • Add the finely chopped onion, the crushed garlic, mix and let it brown;
  • Add the peas, 2 liters of water, salt and mix;
  • Tampe the pan and let it cook for 20 minutes after taking pressure;
  • Add the green smell and mix;
  • Our delicious pea soup is ready!
