If you haven’t tried cornstarch bread yet, don’t waste time, make this delicious snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole egg

  • 1 pinch of salt or to taste

  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or cream cheese

  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch/cornstarch

Directions

  • Place the egg, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, mayonnaise or cream cheese and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • Mix well, add the baking powder and mix again until you unify the ingredients and the dough is homogeneous.
  • Preheat a skillet with butter or margarine over low heat, place the dough and cover.
  • Flip the dough when it browns on the bottom, cover again and brown the other side as well.
  • Remove the cornstarch bread from the skillet and serve warm or let it cool at room temperature.
