Baked Polvilho Biscuit (Chimango)

Let’s make a Brazillian Baked Polvilho Biscuit (Chimango)!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of sour starch

  • 1 packet of grated parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 3 whole eggs

  • 150 ml of milk

  • 150 ml of water

  • 150 ml of oil

Directions

  • Add milk, oil and water to a pan. 
    Bring to a boil and heat until boiling.
  • In a container place the sour starch and the hot liquid, mix very well and let it cool.
  • Add the grated parmesan cheese and mix. 
    Add the salt and eggs and knead very well with your hands until the dough comes apart easily and becomes homogeneous.
  • Take portions of the dough and roll it up however you like. 
    Dispose of the cookies in a shape with space between them.
  • Bake the cookies for about 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢, wait for them to cool down and the manioc flour cookies are ready.
