With a taste of sweets from the country, this baked tamale with cheese is super tasty and very easy to prepare!

The flavor and simplicity of making this oven-baked pamonha with cheese make it an excellent option for the June festivities or any other time!

Ingredients

  • 450 grams of corn or 4 ears

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar (180 grams)

  • 2 heaping tablespoons of butter or margarine

  • 100 grams of mozzarella cheese or other cheese of your choice

  • 200 ml whole milk or coconut milk

  • Diced cheese (optional)

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Place the corn, sugar, milk, butter or margarine and salt in a blender.
  • Cover the blender and blend the ingredients for approximately 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into a refractory greased with butter or margarine and add the diced cheese on top (optional).
  • Preheat the oven to 200º₢ and bake the tamale for approximately 35 minutes, or until golden on top.
  • Wait for the dessert to cool down a bit before serving and the oven tamale with cheese is ready.
