I agreed to join Milei’s team.
Bearing in mind Javier Milei’s offer to join his work team should he be elected President of the Nation, having decided to accept it and currently holding the position of Executive Director for Argentina and Haiti at the Inter-American Development Bank, at the same Dean of its Board of Directors, I have taken the decision to step down from that role in the coming days so as not to affect any sensitivity at such a crucial moment in our young democracy.
I am grateful for the opportunity given to me to defend the interests of our country and of Latin America and the Caribbean at the most important Development Institution in the region. I am convinced of having honored that trust, as I am also convinced of accepting to work in the team led by Javier Milei to build a liberal Argentina as Alberdi envisioned it: modern, developed, more just and dignified.
