Ingredients
1 cup of 200 ml brown rice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1 tablespoon of salt
1 clove of minced garlic
Directions
- Place the brown rice in a sieve and wash well under running water.
- In a pan add the oil and place over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion, chopped garlic and spread a little.
- Add the brown rice, salt and mix until the ingredients are heated through.
- Add water until it is a finger above the rice, mix and cover the pan.
- Cook until dry (15 to 20 minutes) and add water a finger above the rice.
- Cover, cook until the water dries (another 15 to 20 minutes) and the rice is ready.
