Ingredients

  • 4 large lemons

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 6 cups of cold water

  • Ice to taste

  • Mint leaves (optional, for decoration)

Directions

  • Preparation of the lemons: Wash the lemons well and cut them in half. Squeeze the juice from the lemons into a large pitcher. If you prefer, you can use a lemon squeezer to make the process easier.
  • Adding sugar: Add the sugar to the lemon juice in the pitcher. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Adding water: Add the 6 cups of cold water to the pitcher with the lemon juice and sugar. Stir again to combine all ingredients.
  • Refrigeration: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to chill the lemonade and allow the flavors to blend.
  • Serve: When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice and pour Swiss lemonade over ice. If desired, decorate with some mint leaves for a fresh and pretty touch.
  • Enjoy: Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Swiss lemonade!
