Beijinho is the white brigadeiro. Learn how to make your own, it’s really easy! Check the ingredients and follow the instructions:

Ingredients

  • 1 can of condensed milk (approximately 395g)

  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter

  • 1 cup grated coconut (preferably dried coconut)

  • Refined sugar to roll the sweets

Directions

  • In a pan, place the condensed milk, butter and grated coconut.
  • Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Continue stirring until the mixture starts to come away from the bottom of the pan and reaches the brigadeiro point.
  • Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes until you can handle it comfortably.
  • Grease your hands with a little butter to prevent the mixture from sticking, and then, with greased hands, take small portions of the mixture and shape into balls.
  • Dip each ball in refined sugar, covering it completely.
  • Place the balls in paper cups suitable for sweets or on a tray lined with baking paper.
  • Repeat the process until the dough is finished.
  • Let the kisses rest for a few minutes to firm up before serving.
