Right-wing Portuguese deputy, leader of the Chega party, shared the video on social media
Former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) made a video in which he declared support for deputy André Ventura, leader of Chega, a right-wing Portuguese party. Ventura is running for the post of prime minister of the country and shared the recording on his profile on X (formerly Twitter), this Tuesday (2.Jan.2024).
“To everyone in Portugal, especially Brazilians, we have a meeting with the polls. It is very important for all of us that André Ventura, from Chega, gets this seat as prime minister”said Bolsonaro in the recording.

The former Chief Executive said that André Ventura is a candidate who represents the “right wing and conservatism”like this “the good people who are increasingly present at this moment”.
“The vast majority of the population is ours, they are on the side of good. Good luck to everyone. André Ventura becomes prime minister”said Bolsonaro.
Ventura thanked the former president for his support: “I thank the former President of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, for his message of support for the 2024 legislative elections. They know well how the left turned their country into a den of misery and corruption”he wrote.
