Pastry dough (ready or homemade)
Sausages
Frying oil
Toothpicks (optional, to secure the rolls)
Directions
- Preheat the oil in a deep pan or fryer to a medium-high temperature for frying.
- Open the package of pastry dough and cut it into rectangles about 5 cm wide.
- Place a sausage in the corner of each rectangle of dough.
- Roll the dough tightly around the sausage until it is completely covered.
If you prefer, you can secure the dough with toothpicks to prevent it from coming loose during frying. - Repeat the process with the remaining sausages and pasta.
- Carefully place the sausage rolls in the hot oil, little by little, without overloading the pan.
- Fry the rolls until golden and crispy.
This usually takes about 3 to 5 minutes. - Remove the rolls from the pan with a slotted slotted spoon or spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Repeat the frying process with the remaining rolls.
- Serve the sausage rolls warm, accompanied by your favorite sauces, such as ketchup, mustard or mayonnaise.
