Ingredients
1 cup rice (white)
1 cup (tea) and 1/2 of sugar
3 cups of water (tea)
3 cups of milk (tea)
Cinnamon stick to taste
Cloves to taste
Directions
- In a pan add the rice, the cinnamon stick and the cloves to taste.
- Add the water and lead to the fire with the pan semi-open, stirring from time to time until the rice cooks and drains all the water.
- Melt the sugar in another pan until it forms a caramelized syrup, stirring constantly.
- Add the milk to the pan with the rice and when it starts to boil add the caramel little by little while stirring with the fire on.
- Cook until the caramel melts completely.
Let it cook longer on the fire if you want it creamy or if you prefer turn off the heat when the sugar melts. - Transfer the candy to a platter and serve the caramelized rice pudding warm or leave it in the fridge before serving.
