Ingredients
3 whole eggs
1 cup (tea) of milk (200 ml)
1 cup (tea) oil (200 ml)
1 cup (tea) sugar (175 grams)
1 cup cornmeal (130 grams)
1 cup (tea) wheat flour (130 grams)
1 teaspoon fennel (or to taste)
1 tablespoon(s) yeast powder
Directions
- Add the eggs, oil, milk, wheat flour, sugar, cornmeal to the blender and beat for a few minutes.
- Transfer the dough to a bowl and add the fennel, yeast and mix very well.
- Pour all the dough into a greased and floured mold and bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
- Wait for the cornmeal cake to cool, unmold it if you prefer and it is ready to be cut and served.
