Ingredients

  • 500g pasta (preferably spaghetti)

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 6 minced garlic cloves

  • Red pepper flakes to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Chopped parsley to finish

Directions

  • Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water according to package directions until al dente. 
    Run the water and book.
  • In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium-low heat. 
    Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes and cook, stirring frequently, for about 2 to 3 minutes, or until the garlic is golden and fragrant.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss well with the olive oil and garlic. 
    Season with salt to taste and cook for a further 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the noodles are hot and coated in the oil and garlic sauce.
  • Serve the pasta hot, sprinkled with chopped parsley to finish. 
    If you like, you can also add grated parmesan cheese on top.
