Ingredients
1 kg of green corn dough
100ml hot lard
250 grams of fresh Minas cheese
1 ear of shelled corn (optional)
Salt to taste
Directions
- In a container, place the green corn dough, hot lard and salt to taste.
- Mix the ingredients well until you have a smooth, homogeneous and consistent dough.
- Pour all the dough into a baking dish greased with lard.
- Add the fresh Minas cheese cut into cubes and the shelled corn on top.
- Bake the pamonha in a preheated oven at 180°₢ for about 40 to 45 minutes.
- Unmold if you prefer, cut into pieces and serve the pamonha hot or cold.
