minutesWarm up the cold atmosphere of the June festival in a very tasty way with mulled wine!
Ingredients
500ml of water
2 chopped apples
1 liter of sweet or dry red wine
1 full cup (tea) of sugar (200g)
Cloves and cinnamon sticks (quantity to taste)
Directions
- Place the sugar, cloves and cinnamon sticks to taste in a pan.
- Bring to a boil and melt the sugar until it caramelizes, stirring occasionally.
- Gradually add the wine, water and chopped apples.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the caramel melts and the mixture thickens.
- After it starts to boil, cook the mulled wine for a few more minutes.
- Transfer the mulled wine to a pitcher if you prefer and it is ready to serve.
