The former president was rushed out of a Pennsylvania rally after gunshots were heard.
Former US President Donald Trump was rushed from a rally in Pennsylvania (USA) early Saturday evening (13.Jul.2024). According to US media, the Secret Service reported that he is “safe”.
At a certain point during his speech, gunshots can be heard. Trump then puts his hand to his ear and ducks. In the background, supporters who were participating in the rally are startled and also duck.
A group of Secret Service agents run toward the former president as more gunshots are heard. Trump remains crouched down for a few seconds. The agents can be heard shouting “shooter is down.”

On social media, supporters quickly began sharing photos and videos of the moment. His son, Donald Trump Jr., shared an image of the former president covered in blood on his X (formerly Twitter) profile with the following phrase: “He will never stop fighting to save America”.
