Ingredients

  • 1 liter of water

  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 cup (tea) of cachaça (optional)

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 6 cloves

  • 200g sliced ​​ginger

Directions

  • In a pan add the sugar, turn on the heat and stir well until it melts and caramelizes.
  • Reduce heat to low and add the sliced ​​ginger, cloves and cinnamon and mix well.
  • Boil the water, carefully add it little by little to the pan and mix well.
  • Add the cachaça (optional) to the pan and mix again.
  • Cover the pan and let the mixture boil for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat, serve the mulled wine with a ladle and the drink is ready to drink.
