Eating a tapioca bun with cornstarch and not wanting to do it again is impossible!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornstarch (cornstarch)

  • 1 cup (tea) of hydrated tapioca gum

  • 1 slice and 1/2 shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine

  • 30 ml of warm water

  • Salt to taste

Directions

  • In a bowl, place the hydrated gum, cornstarch, salt, melted butter or margarine and stir well.
  • Add the shredded mozzarella cheese and add the warm water little by little. 
    Mix well with your hands until you get a modeling point.
  • Shape the buns with portions of the dough and place them in a baking dish, with space between them so they don’t stick.
  • Bake the tapioca buns for about 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and they are ready.
