Ingredients
7 very ripe bananas
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder or 70% chocolate (optional)
50 ml of filtered water (if it is too firm add 20 ml)
Directions
- Mash the ripe bananas very well using a fork and transfer to a pan.
- Take to the fire and stir constantly until the mixture boils, reduces and becomes a consistent cream.
- Add 50ml water and keep stirring the banana mixture non-stop for a few more minutes.
- Add ground cinnamon or 70% chocolate and another 20 ml of water if it is too firm.Â
Mix well until homogenized. - Wait for it to cool, serve in pots of your choice and consume the banana jam right away or leave it in the fridge for a few hours before serving.
