Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley (optional)

Directions

  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes or thin slices, as you prefer.
  • In a large skillet, heat the butter and oil over medium heat.
  • Add the potatoes to the skillet and toss so they are well coated with the butter and oil.
  • Cook the potatoes for about 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden brown and soft inside.
Time may vary depending on the size of cubes or slices.
  • Add the minced garlic and continue to cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent the garlic from burning.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • If desired, sprinkle chopped parsley over the sautéed potatoes before serving.
