1/2 cup pop corn
2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
Salt to taste

- In a large pot with a lid, heat the oil over medium-high heat.
- Add 3 popcorn kernels to the pan and cover it.Â
Wait until these grains pop, as this will indicate that the pan is hot enough. - Once the 3 kernels have popped, add the remaining popcorn and cover the pan again.
- Shake the pan constantly, moving it back and forth over the heat.Â
