In addition to its special flavor, this rice with broccoli and saffron looks beautiful!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup broccoli (or to taste)

  • 1 cup of rice

  • 2 glasses of water

  • 1/2 small onion

  • Saffron to taste

  • Garlic to taste

  • Salt to taste

  • Oil

Directions

  • Add a drizzle of olive oil to a hot pan, add the chopped onion and brown, stirring well.
  • Add the garlic and sauté without stopping stirring. 
    Add the broccoli, saffron and keep stirring until sauteed.
  • Add the rice and sauté, always stirring well. 
    Put the salt, mix well and add the water.
  • When it boils, cover the pan, place over medium heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • After the rice with broccoli and saffron is dry, turn off the heat and the recipe is ready.
