Potato gratin is that type of recipe that conquers both for flavor and practicality!

Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1 thread of olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika

  • 1 teaspoon(s) peppercorns

  • Grated parmesan cheese to taste

  • Butter to taste

  • Chives to taste

  • Thyme to taste

Directions

  • Peel the potatoes, cut them into thin slices with a knife or grater and set aside.
  • Grease the sides and bottom of a mold with butter to taste and place the potato slices in it.
  • Add the chopped garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika and a drizzle of olive oil over the potatoes.
  • Put small cubes of butter on top of the potato slices, then add thyme to taste and cover with aluminum foil with the shiny part inside.
  • Place in a preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake the potatoes for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Remove foil and thyme sprigs. 
    Cover the potatoes with grated parmesan cheese, return to the oven and let it brown for 15 minutes.
  • Finish by adding chopped chives over the potato gratin and the recipe is ready.
